About InvertPixel
A small tool site with one rule: the file never leaves the tab.

What this is
InvertPixel is a set of image converters that run entirely inside the browser tab. There is no backend for the tools: the file is read with the File API, drawn to a canvas, and the result is handed back as a download. No image is ever sent to a server, because there is no server-side endpoint to send it to.
The site covers one operation from several angles, because people search for it under several names: invert image, photo negative, image negative, colour inverter, image inverter. All six pages run the same engine and differ in what they explain.
Why it works this way
Most converters upload the file, process it, and hand back a link. That is fine until the file is a scan of a passport, a client design under embargo, or a photo of somebody who did not agree to be on a server. A canvas can do the same subtraction in milliseconds, so the upload buys nothing and costs privacy.
The second reason is speed. A browser tab opens faster than a desktop editor and survives a locked-down work laptop where nothing can be installed.
How it is paid for
The tools are free and unlimited. Hosting is paid for by advertising and, later, by optional extras for people who need batch or programmatic access. The core converter will not move behind a login, a watermark or a file cap.
There are no accounts, so there is no data to sell and nothing to cancel.
Who runs it
One developer, working on image tooling in the open. The site is static: a small generator turns page copy into HTML, and Cloudflare serves it. That is the whole stack.
Corrections are welcome and acted on. If a claim on a page is wrong — a format that does not decode, a number that is off, a browser where the worker fails — say so and it gets fixed.
Contact
The mailbox for this domain is being set up and will be listed here as soon as it exists. Until then the tools need no support: there is no account to recover and no file of yours on any server to ask about.
